Probability Game
During today's class we have been working on probability. Our group has come up with a very fun activity that we can use with the students of the second cycle of Primary Education to introduce the concepts of impossible, probable and safe.
First of all we will need a giant dice, which has its faces of colors Red, Blue, Brown, Green, Yellow and Green again. Each side of the die has its number written as usual.
The activity consists in that by groups they must respond to a file given by the teacher previously, in that sheet some questions appear about the times in which the colors or numbers appear.
To work on the concept of impossible, you will be asked about the times when the black color appears (none). To work on the concept of probable, you will be asked about the times when the green color appears, the number two, etc. And to work the concept of insurance, you will be questioned the times in which a number appears in each roll.
